The Final Stunt documentary looks at the career-defining moment for Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK) as well as giving an overview of his career as he claimed the 2021 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship title in Indonesia. One aspect is his relationship with five-time WorldSSP Champion Kenan Sofuoglu, who is seen by Razgatlioglu’s side throughout a WorldSBK round and inside the Pata Yamaha garage.

The 45-minute documentary explores when this relationship started, all the way back when Razgatlioglu was in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and even before that, when the 2021 World Champion was just a child. Explaining when he first met Razgatlioglu, Sofuoglu said: “He was very young. I think he was around maybe 7-8 years old. He was doing stunt shows with his father, I knew his father for many years. Before, I helped him in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, German Yamaha Cup, all these places, I was there before. But I definitively took him in the 2014 season.”

Sofuoglu also opens up on the reasons he took Razgatlioglu under his wings, stemming from his own experience of not having anyone around him to help him move into WorldSBK as well as Razgatlioglu potentially not having a seat after 2014. Sofuoglu said: “When I was racing in the Stock class in the 2004 and 2005 seasons, I had no opportunity. I had no brother, I had no powerful person, who could arrange for me to go to WorldSBK. At the end of 2014, he was out of a job. I decided to take him with me, but I told him: now your father, your mother, your brother, your family… Everyone is me. You need to listen to everything I do; you need to live in my city, and I will take care of everything. I will change your life, I promised him. And in six years, look at where he is now.”

There was also discussion about Sofuoglu’s mentality from Manuel Puccetti, Team Owner at Kawasaki Puccetti Racing competing in WorldSBK and WorldSSP. Puccetti, whose eponymous team ran Sofuoglu to two of his five titles in 2015 and 2016, said: “This is the Kenan Sofuoglu mentality. It’s to teach all his riders: if you are a Champion, you can only think to win. All the rest is nothing. Second is completely the same as last.”
